Colorado Premier Training Announces Partnership With Coach Rick Crawford

July 18, 2007 Durango, Colorado. Colorado Premier Training (CPT), an international coaching company for cyclists and endurance athletes, announces “The New Colorado Premier Training” partnership with world -renowned coach Rick Crawford.

In setting its sights on being the most comprehensive and most cutting-edge coaching company in the world, CPT has partnered with world-renowned cycling coach, Rick Crawford. Crawford has been a coach to many top professional cyclists, including Lance Armstrong, Levi Leipheimer, Tom Danielson, Jamie Whitmore, Chris Wherry, Shonny Vanlandingham, Nathan O’Neill, and many others.

Crawford is known for his distinguished approach by including the Central Nervous System (CNS) in measuring how ‘happy’ the brain is. “I try to understand what is going on in my athletes' lives," says Crawford. "What, besides the physical training itself, is draining the system? Are finances a problem? Trouble with a job? Is there stress with your significant other? Knowing information like that makes a huge difference. The trick is putting a quantity on the CNS so you can make appropriate adjustments to the physical training stress. I have a tremendous amount of success monitoring this with my athletes. Steve Owens and I are working together to bring that knowledge to Colorado Premier Training and the other coaches at CPT.”

“Rick has perhaps the world’s best coaching resume. His experience and knowledge that he imparts is second to none”, said CPT owner Steve Owens. “The partnership with Rick Crawford is a natural progression because of our similar coaching philosophies and backgrounds. I’m excited that we can work together.”

Colorado Premier Training has also launched a new web site, designed to enhance the experience of its clients and to provide more informative content to its visitors. CPT will also be holding a grand opening of its own wind tunnel testing facilities August 24, 2007 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
